The painting, “An Evening on the Town”, by Helena Lam, expresses the design concept for the new retail space for Fringe.  The art deco inspired painting portrays an elegance and glamour that defines the store’s new brand image.  The design’s bold, linear symmetry create balance in the space, emanating confidence as well as functionality.  Contrasting black and white straight lines and a minimum use of color define a flow of movement and a rhythm within the space.  It is a unique boutique image for a unique retail store.
